COLECO GEMINI
This is an Atari 2600 clone made by Coleco and marketed in US and
Europe for a limited period of time. It is a pretty rare system and I
have never saw one for real. In Europe it was sold with two Coleco
titles: Wizard of Wor and Mouse Trap.
In North America (and in particular in Canada) the systems seems to
be not so rare since you could find some of them pretty easily in
second hand shops!
The system was marketed by Coleco as a cheap alternative to the
high-end Colecovision system and was an Official clone since at the
time the Connecticut Leather Company had the right to produce and
sell systems based on the VCS technology.
THE SYSTEM
Note the strange joystick-paddle hybrid that came with the
system.
In Europe it was marketed by CBS Electronics and it was sold at the
same price of the official Atari 2600 (that came with no games at the
time).
