The FIRST prototype Jaguar CD ever presented. Note the Atari ST computer sitting near it; it is not clear if it was part of the development kit or if it was necessary to run the software that give the Jaguar the ability to read the CDs. I can't tell what CD is inserted, anyway it seems to be a gold CD-R.

A later Jaguar CD prototype (probably only a mock-up). This one was presented at the 1994 Summer CES in Chicago. The design was almost finished but there were no games ready for it at the time (apart from the built-in Virtual Light Machine developed by Jeff Minter).

A global vision of the Jaguar CD Player. For the first time it's design was compared to a WC. Too bad...
